And it’s clean. As this is a national park this place is kept perfectly clean at all times. BBQ places, beach, playground, kayak rental, bicycle rental, all is bedded in a save and well maintained surrounding. Refreshment areas, showers, restrooms (how important with kids!). And no search at all for a parking lot. There are hundreds of parking lots so close to the beach. No meters - no worries.
Relaxing, playing, swimming, hiking, BBQ - or just sunbathing and looking around once in a while - that is what makes Ft. de Soto one of the greatest beaches of the USA.
